Essential Functions:Designs, documents, implements, monitors, and supports Unix, Linux, Sun Solaris, HP/US, Suse and SAN systems, services, and applicationsDesigns, documents, plans, implements, monitors, and supports enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutionsPlans, configures, manages, monitors, and supports SAN infrastructure including EMC CX and DMX SAN, IBM DS SAN, and Brocade SAN switchesPlans, configures, manages, monitors, and supports SAN fabric design, zoning, optimization, and fault-toleranceResponds to alerts or emergency issues within 15 minutes during normal business hours and when on-callReviews new technologies against business requirements to identify opportunities for process, performance, reliability, or data management, storage or backup improvements and to identify opportunities to reduce costs5+ to 7 years experience IDEAL CANDIDATE- Greenplum Admin (Ok with PostgreSQL from a Hadoop Environment) - Sys Admin experience from UNIX/LinuxAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
