Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year with a focus on virtual telespeech services in a school setting located in Los Alamos, NM. This position offers a four-day school week, totaling 32 hours per week, designed to provide a balanced work schedule.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid New Mexico state license (NMRLD) required by start date
• NMPED certification required or in pending status at the time of hire
• Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
• Proficiency in teletherapy and virtual service delivery methods
• Knowledge of school-based speech-language pathology practices and caseload management

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing speech-language therapy services to students via teletherapy platforms
• Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Managing a caseload with consideration for age preferences, which will be discussed during the interview process
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state standards
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
