Come be a part of this incredible and inclusive team at Invited!/ppJob Summary:/ppThe Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring smooth execution of events and exceptional member and guest experience. This role involves managing the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions while maintaining Invited service standards. The Banquet Supervisor will work closely with the banquet team, ensuring proper staffing, coordination, and compliance with safety and service guidelines, while directly interacting with members, guests, and team members to deliver a seamless and high-quality event experience./ppReporting Structure:/pulliReports to the Banquet Manager, Banquet Director or Director of Food Beverage/li/ulpDay to Day:/pulliRecruit, develop, and performance manage banquet service personnel according to club procedures./liliImplement and facilitate training programs, including service training, to maintain well-trained staff in-line with Invited service standards, driving service excellence, member satisfaction, and retention./liliCommunicate with the Event Sales Director during event preparation to ensure proper staffing and seamless execution of private functions./liliReview banquet event orders (BEOs) and daily logs to understand function details, ensuring room setups correspond with function sheets and making necessary adjustments as required./liliOversee the timely service of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to Invited standards of service and quality./liliMonitor events to ensure food is served on time, communicate with the event host post-event to confirm their satisfaction, and collect payment, completing necessary accounting paperwork./liliManage room breakdown and setup based on event details outlined in the function book./liliExecute opening procedures for the banquet department and ensure the room is prepared according to event standards./liliRecord relevant information in the MOD log for the next shift./liliProvide a warm welcome by greeting members and guests by name and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event./liliEnsure all side work is completed, including maintaining clean and organized work areas, refilling and stocking containers and supplies, and ensuring sanitary conditions as outlined in the Service standards./liliInteract professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests as needed./liliComplete additional duties as assigned by management./li/ulpAdditional Duties:/pulliDue to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management./liliFollow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions./liliRepresent the companys management team by supporting and enforcing policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity./liliMaintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff./liliPromote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same./liliTake the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role./liliAddress and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations./liliSupport the overall efficiency of the team by collaborating and contributing to the clubs goals./li/ulpAbout You:/ppRequired:/pulliA high school diploma or equivalent./liliA minimum of 2 years of experience in the restaurant, banquet, or club-related field within the food beverage industry./li/ulpPreferred:/pulliPreferred certifications: Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, TABC Certification, CPR Certification, Food Safety Program, and HFWACT./liliCompletion of Food Safety and Alcohol Safety training./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliMust be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods./liliAbility to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases./liliCapable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required./liliAble to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally./liliEffective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity./li/ulpPrimary Tools/Equipment:/pulliComputer/liliBanquet Event Order (BEO)/liliPOS system/liliTrays (2 - 60 lbs.)/liliBottle Opener/liliWine Tool/li/ulpWork Schedule:/pulliAttendance requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule./liliAdditional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays./li/ulpWhat We Offer:/ppWe believe in taking care of our team, and our Total Rewards package reflects that commitment.
