You'll be part of a team that genuinely cares about helping you succeed, and you'll work alongside talented colleagues, while making a difference in our communities.Job SummaryThe Meat Cutter performs various cuts for meat items in constant meat cutting with knife and/or saw machine.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible with stocking merchandise in both the fresh and frozen casesFollows established department procedures for receiving incoming shipmentsProduct pricingEnsures product's quality, protections, accuracy and proper rotation in coolersRewraps meat packages as neededConstant meat cutting with knife and/or saw machineMaintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirementsEnsures great customer serviceEducation And ExperienceHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent requiredBasic kitchen skills; familiar with food preparation.Bilingual in English and SpanishKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesCandidates must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities required for satisfactory performance.Efficiency and expertise in using cutting knives and toolsAbility to properly communicate with co-workers and customersAbility to follow the positions responsibilities and guidelinesSafe cutting techniquesMultitasking capabilitiesPhysical Demands And Work ConditionsThe physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met or successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
