Project & Program Office – Senior Project Lead Within the Product Engineering Global Cloud Operations (GCO) organization, our Project & Program Office focuses on best‑in‑class project execution to accelerate S/4 HANA cloud adoption. The Senior Project Lead works in Global Cloud Operations accounts in the Americas, managing planning, implementation, and escalation during planned project activities. Organization Priorities Build and operate a world‑class, efficient and reliable organization to support customers’ journey toward their next‑generation business. Help SAP customers realize the innovation power of SAP HANA and the SAP Cloud continuously. Accelerate innovations to the S/4 HANA platform. Manage system landscape provisioning, application installations, upgrades and migrations. Perform project management for all GCO Delivery Projects. Act as the main interface to the customer project team to ensure effective communication. What You’ll Do Serve as a key contact for all GCO technology topics to ensure a smooth move to the SAP HANA system landscape in the cloud. Lead the implementation and migration of solutions and technologies, including design, configuration and operation of the solution landscape. Manage provisioning and upgrades of system landscapes in the GCO Managed Cloud. Act as an interface between Sales/Client Delivery Management and GCO Delivery Technical experts. Work under pressure and consistently add value to customers and the organization. Collaborate with various teams within the GCO Delivery organization and other lines of business to ensure excellent customer satisfaction, including interfacing with customers. What You Bring Demonstrated IT project management competence. Strong business acumen with a technology/solution background. Process orientation and affinity for process improvement. Profound IT backend technology experience. Experience performing system owner related tasks. Experience working with cross‑cultural teams or individuals. Experience working with cross‑functional teams. Ability to actively manage project escalations. Experience managing SAP release upgrades. Willingness to work weekends or off‑hours; flexibility is required. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management. Overall 8+ years of related professional experience, including 5+ years managing/ running landscape provisioning, installation, migration, and upgrades and a minimum of 3 years in a customer‑facing role with strong de‑escalation skills. Preferred Skills Good understanding of SAP next‑generation solutions and services (S4HANA, Analytics, Cloud, Mobility, HANA, Sybase). SAP Basis Lead with strong knowledge and hands‑on experience. Datacenter migration experience. Compensation Range The targeted combined range for this position is 131,000 – 222,700 USD.
