Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in San Antonio, Texas. This position is focused on providing occupational therapy services in an inpatient setting within a hospital environment. The role involves evaluating and treating neuro and orthopedic patients, primarily in inpatient rehab, with an emphasis on acute hospital experience.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week, with two weekend shifts per month and a day off during the week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license; in-patient rehab and/or hospital experience; at least 2 years of experience in occupational therapy in neuro and ortho patient evaluations and treatments; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; no temporary licenses allowed.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in rehabilitation and/or acute hospital settings; NDT or brain injury certifications.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as per policy during the assignment period.
• Additional Information: The position involves evaluating and treating patients with neuro and orthopedic conditions in inpatient rehab, utilizing systems such as Meditech for documentation. Candidates should be aware of the floating policy and unit-specific guidelines, including dress code and body art restrictions.
