\nThe practice of computed tomography is performed by healthcare professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. A computed tomography technologist performs computed tomography procedures that create the images needed for interpretation and the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner\n

Expected to participate in professional organizations and scholarly activities such as research, scientific investigation, presentation, and publication to advance the profession.

Knowledge and Competency

\n

\n

Novice level experience. Competent in routine studies.  

\n

Working knowledge of technical standards, scope of practice, department and health system policies, safety, and service standards. 

\n

Working knowledge of imaging equipment, image processing software, instrumentation, and ancillary patient care equipment

\n

\n

Education, Certification & Experience

\n

\n

The position requires Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) or Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB)

\n

Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) 

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n

 

\n

 

\n

Compensation Ranges:

\n CT Technologist I: $34.00 - $48.70
\n CT Technologist II: $34.00 - $48.70
\n CT Technologist III: $35.19 - $54.55

\n Actual Salary offers will be based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications. \n
