As a 700+ manufacturing company based in Western New York, we take pride in contributing to the local economy and community.Education/Prerequisite Requirements:Minimum High School Diploma or equivalentEquipment/Training Knowledge:Package integrity/teardownsOverall knowledge of different zones on fillerQuality mindsetStrong mechanical aptitudeBasic troubleshooting skillsBasic minor adjustments and upkeepSchedule: Variable scheduling based on production scheduleWork Specifications – Responsibilities:Responsible for food safety and qualityOperate and maintain fillers according to OS bookFollow startup and shutdown procedures according to OS book and turn procedure checklistCIP of required fillers, intermediate and final cleaning.Perform common weeklies on fillerPerform seal evaluation according to OS book for required fillers including pull tab.Keep accurate records, filler downtime log, turn procedures, and chart recorders.Ensure filler is stocked with materials needed.Keep filler room and fillers in clean sanitary conditions.Perform safe handling of chemicals, appropriate PPE (personal Protective Equipment) used, H?O? concentration checks.Ensure only quality packages leave filler room.Alert maintenance if equipment malfunctions, works with them to correct problem.Communicate production issues to Supervisors/Leads and other operators.Rate of Pay: $23.10 to $24.10Steuben Foods is committed to equal employment opportunity.
