Product Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our dynamic Product team at M-Tech Systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the success of our products. You’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle of your product line, from discovery to delivery, ensuring that each feature or solution aligns with customer needs and business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset who can collaborate across departments, lead product development efforts, and deliver measurable outcomes. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Product Strategy : Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company objectives, industry trends, and producer needs. Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and develop 2–3 Product Owners, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality user stories, prioritize effectively, and meet delivery commitments. Industry Expertise : Apply deep knowledge of agriculture, livestock production, and swine operations to identify high-value opportunities and design impactful solutions. Customer Insights : Engage directly with producers, processors, and supply chain stakeholders to gather feedback, uncover pain points, and validate product concepts. Regulatory Awareness : Ensure product compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare, and food safety regulations, adapting features and workflows to meet evolving standards. Data-Driven Decisions : Leverage production, health, and performance data to inform product decisions and enable actionable insights for customers. Cross-Functional Leadership : Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality features on time and within scope. Roadmap and Prioritization : Maintain a well-defined backlog and prioritize features based on business value, ROI, and customer impact. Go-to-Market Execution : Partner with marketing and sales to develop launch plans, positioning, and training that drive adoption and measurable business results. Performance Measurement : Define KPIs for product success, track adoption, and continuously optimize based on feedback and usage analytics. Innovation : Monitor industry advancements, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to ensure the product remains market leading. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. 7+ years of product development for software experience Experience in SaaS, data platforms, or enterprise software. Poultry, Agriculture, food production industry experience/knowledge is preferred Preferred Personal Skills/Abilities Strong understanding of designing and optimizing user interfaces for custom software solutions.API experience is also preferred. Proven experience in developing, customizing, and deploying software-generated reports. Clear communication with stakeholders, development team, and other departments is essential. Ability to prioritize tasks and features based on business value and customer needs. Leadership skills to guide the development team and ensure alignment with the product vision. Aptitude for identifying and solving problems that arise during the development process. Negotiation skills to manage conflicting interests and reach consensus among stakeholders. Focus on understanding and advocating for the needs of end-users to ensure the product meets their requirements. Ability to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and market conditions. Analytical mindset to interpret data and feedback to make informed decisions about the product roadmap and features. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, testers, and marketers to deliver a successful product. Empathy towards users, team members, and stakeholders to foster strong relationships and create a positive work environment. Ability to identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development lifecycle. Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and deliverables within the project timeline. Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.
