Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional ambitions

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living abilities

Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic care

Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques to ensure continued progress at home

Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Pursuit of continuing education or additional certifications is encouraged and supported

Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification needed

A strong commitment to helping others achieve their independent living goals

Effective, compassionate communication with patients and team members

The ability to think outside of the box and adapt treatment plans for varying needs

Confidence in working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
