Position Summary
PDG is seeking a highly detail-oriented Research Analyst Talent & Workforce to support ongoing talent intelligence, workforce research, and professional market-mapping initiatives.
This role will focus on identifying and evaluating professionals using LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, AI-powered research platforms, and advanced search methodologies. The ideal candidate brings an extreme attention to detail, a tenacious appetite for quality research, and a can-do attitude when navigating complex or difficult-to-identify talent markets.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys research, pattern recognition, market intelligence, and uncovering highly relevant professionals beyond the obvious search results.

The Research Analyst Talent & Workforce will support ongoing workforce and talent intelligence initiatives including:

Professional talent research

• Candidate identification and qualification
• Workforce market mapping
• Competitive talent research
• Advanced LinkedIn research
• AI-assisted candidate discovery
• Talent pipeline development
• Research validation and data accuracy
• Specialized and hard-to-identify talent searches

This role requires strong research instincts, attention to detail, persistence, and the ability to translate complex requirements into highly targeted search strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Talent & Workforce Research

• Conduct targeted professional research using LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, AI-powered sourcing tools, and other approved research platforms
• Identify professionals aligned with specific technical, functional, industry, geographic, and experience requirements
• Review professional profiles in detail to evaluate alignment with defined criteria
• Build highly targeted talent maps and professional research lists
• Research companies, industries, job titles, career paths, and adjacent talent pools
• Identify alternative titles and transferable skill sets that may broaden available talent markets
• Conduct specialized research for difficult-to-identify and niche professional skill sets

Advanced Search & Research Strategy

• Develop and refine Boolean search strategies
• Create keyword combinations and advanced platform searches
• Develop effective AI prompts to accelerate professional research
• Test alternative search approaches when initial results do not meet quality expectations
• Identify competitor organizations and target companies where relevant professionals may be found
• Continuously improve search methodologies based on results and internal feedback
• Stay current on emerging AI research tools and professional search technologies

Research Validation & Quality

• Validate professional backgrounds, experience, skills, and relevant qualifications
• Ensure identified professionals meet defined requirements before inclusion in research results
• Maintain accurate and organized research records
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or questionable profile details
• Conduct quality reviews before submitting research findings
• Prioritize accuracy and relevance over volume

Workforce Intelligence & Market Mapping

• Research talent availability across industries and geographic markets
• Identify concentrations of specialized professional skills
• Support workforce market-mapping initiatives
• Research competitor organizations and related talent ecosystems
• Identify emerging job titles, skills, and professional backgrounds
• Provide observations regarding talent availability and market trends
• Support internal teams with research that informs talent strategy and workforce planning

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with internal PDG team members to understand project requirements
• Translate complex position requirements into effective research strategies
• Communicate research challenges and findings proactively
• Incorporate feedback and refine searches quickly
• Maintain organized research documentation and activity tracking
• Provide clear status updates regarding research progress and results

Qualifications



Required :

• Previous experience in professional research, talent intelligence, workforce research, market mapping, or a related research-intensive role
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar professional research platforms
• Strong online research and investigative search capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to identify highly specific professional profiles
• Strong understanding of Boolean search methodologies
• Experience using AI tools to support research and analysis
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to interpret detailed position requirements and translate them into targeted search criteria
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently within a remote environment
• Demonstrated persistence when navigating difficult or highly specialized research assignments

Preferred :

• Experience with Juicebox or similar AI-powered talent intelligence platforms
• Experience researching technical, professional, executive, or highly specialized skill sets
• Experience with workforce intelligence or talent market mapping
• Experience conducting competitor and industry research
• Familiarity with AI-assisted research workflows
• Experience working within technology, professional services, government contracting, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with CRM, ATS, or research tracking platforms
• Advanced LinkedIn search experience
• Experience developing research reports, talent maps, or market intelligence summaries

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range : $25 to $30 per hour
