The Senior Tax Associate will play a key role in delivering accurate tax filings, proactive planning strategies, and financial insight to clients throughout Jacksonville. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Support business clients with strategic tax planning, entity structuring considerations, and year‑round advisory services. Analyze financial statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy and alignment with tax reporting requirements. Assist with IRS and state tax correspondence, notices, and resolution matters. Collaborate with internal accounting staff to ensure bookkeeping and financial reporting accuracy. Maintain organized documentation and adhere to firm quality control procedures and regulatory standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA license or CPA candidacy strongly preferred. 3+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax preparation and compliance. Solid understanding of U.S. federal and state tax laws for individuals and business entities. Proficiency with tax preparation software and accounting systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
