Description

SIMOS is seeking 2nd Shift Warehouse Production/Dock Associates to join our team supporting Toyota in Blue Ash, Ohio! Warehouse sorters will be continuously lifting up to 50 poundswhile sorting automotive parts in the docking area. We encourage a diverse and inclusive environment. Apply today!

Pay: $24.25/hr. Associates are eligible for pay raises after 6 months (per eligibility requirements).
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:59 PM-12:30 AM (with overtime available, up to 4:00AM)

Job Responsibilities

Must meet 4 of 5 criteria within first 30 days - Safety , Quality , Performance , Attendance , and Engagement (Team Partnership)
Sorting car parts with RF scanner, placing parts in correct cage, bumper box, and skids
Lifting up to 50 pounds
Standing 8-10 hours
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skill
Steel toes required

NON-CLIMATE CONTROLLED WAREHOUSE - Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment
Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
Ability to utilize personal protective equipment which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment
Shipping and receiving functions must be performed accurately and in compliance with established standard operating procedures and daily workload plans. All functions must be completed within a SIMOS/Toyota Production System environment while ensuring damage- and error-free inventory shipping/receiving. Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
Team Members are expected to meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards. Strict adherence to all published and reasonably anticipated safety practices, procedures, and guidelines must always be observed.
Establish part locations, relocate, build, and replenish reserve/excess/primary picking locations as needed. Verify inventory variances and location additions/deletions (which include cycle counts, inventory, or stock verifications) are also performed. Other processes include properly locating parts by frequency/zone and ensuring storage for maximum efficiency and productivity.
Team members are expected to be trained and available to operate powered equipment including order pickers, tuggers, reach trucks, and counterbalanced forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) at heights up to 25 ft.
