Are you looking to grow your accounting career in a supportive and hands-on environment? We're looking for a Full time Junior Accountant to join our finance team and gain valuable experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger work. What You'll Do: Process invoices and payments (AP/ and some AR) Help with bank and account reconciliations Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end/year-end close Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to prepare for the annual audit Work allocation: 70% Accounts Payable / 25% General Ledger / 5% Miscellaneous What You Bring: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Up to 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software Detail-oriented and willingness to learn within a team Critical thinking and problem solving skills Why Join Us: Gain experience across multiple areas of accounting Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and development The YMCA of Dane County is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
