Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process for a patient or assigned group
- Collect, interpret, and document relevant patient data; analyze to determine diagnoses and care needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care; coordinate care with the care team and other disciplines
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor responses; ensure accurate charting in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff and coordinate duties across the team
- Maintain a safe, healing environment; participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives
- Communicate clearly with the treatment team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- BLS or CPR certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum two years of recent acute care experience
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Excellent judgment, critical-thinking, and collaboration skills; able to work in a hospital setting
