Details Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30 13-week assignment length Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and Med-Surg units as needed Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations across multiple units Epic charting system required Requirements Active OH State or Compact RN license required in hand Current certifications: BLS and PALS required Minimum 2 years of current PICU experience required in work history First-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of PICU experience Recent Level 1 trauma center experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience required Skilled in respiratory care including ventilator management, ETT/NT suctioning, and tracheostomy care Skilled in IV therapy including central line and PICC line management Skilled in administration of emergency medications including vasopressors and antiarrhythmics Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Two supervisory or manager-titled references required for consideration Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital environment Candidates who worked in a permanent role at the facility within the last 2 years are not eligible Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted for this position All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application American Traveler Job ID P-727433.
