Job Overview:
The Operational Accountant 2 - Contingent role supports Ariba and PeopleSoft projects by creating new suppliers and modifying existing ones. Due to current projects, there is an influx of modifications requiring high-level and end-to-end supplier setup and maintenance. The candidate will analyze risks, document procedures, and provide training to strengthen and improve individual and team performance. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight and collaborate effectively with various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform unique supplier setup and maintenance requests tied to projects.
• Answer process-related questions for peers, managers, internal business groups, and external suppliers.
• Troubleshoot escalated and complex questions independently.
• Analyze risks in processes and document procedures and training requirements to improve performance.
• Manage system clean-up projects to maintain accurate records, such as inactivating unused supplier locations.
• Ensure successful supplier onboarding by collaborating with Ariba, supplier key contacts, and various roles across SCM, including Sourcing and Contracts, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Enabling Capabilities, and Business Groups.
• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Operational Accounting.
• Review and analyze basic or tactical Operational Accounting assignments or challenges requiring research and evaluation.
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to client personnel in Operational Accounting.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Pay Range: $25/hr-$35/hr on W2 Basis

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
