Senior Production Manager

Aflalo is a modern luxury brand rooted in elegance, opulence, and bold femininity. We are expanding our production capabilities across categories and looking for a seasoned production professional to own our denim, knitwear, and fine jewelry categories from a Los Angeles base. The Production Manager, Denim, Knitwear & Fine Jewelry owns the full development and production critical path for denim — from design pass-off through bulk delivery — and oversees production execution for full package knitwear and a small fine jewelry capsule. For denim, you are the operational backbone of the category: partnering closely with our LA-based Denim Tech Designer and Denim Designer (both consultants), managing all materials and trim, and tracking every stage of the calendar from first development to final bulk approval. For knitwear and fine jewelry, you work alongside dedicated internal partners who lead the technical and product development work. You report to the Director of Development & Production and collaborate daily with our product team based in Milan. This is a role for someone with deep denim expertise, in both development and production, who is ready to expand their category ownership at a founder-led brand with real momentum. WHAT YOU'LL DO Denim Development & Production — Core Category Own the full denim calendar from design pass-off through bulk delivery — tracking every stage of development and production with precision and urgency Partner daily with the LA-based Denim Tech Designer and Denim Designer (consultants) from the earliest development stages through sample hand-off and into bulk Plan, source, and purchase all fabrics, materials, and trims for denim — managing vendor relationships, lead times, and cost targets Serve as the primary point of contact for our Los Angeles denim factory — visiting on-site as needed for fit reviews, quality checks, approvals, and relationship management Place and track denim production POs, manage WIP, and maintain tight visibility on every style from cut through ship Book factory capacity ahead of bulk POs and protect seasonal delivery windows Lead quality control on bulk denim: in-line and final inspections, AQL standards, defect tracking, and corrective action Manage costing through the development-to-production hand-off — protect margin targets and resolve cost questions cleanly with the factory Knitwear — Full Package (China & Italy) Manage full package sweater production across our factory partners in China and Italy, in close partnership with our dedicated knitwear Tech Designer and Product Development Manager Coordinate seasonal production calendar, capacity, and delivery timelines with full package factories Track WIP and surface risks early, with options to keep delivery windows intact Ensure bulk quality reflects brand construction and finishing standards at final inspection No prior knitwear production experience required — you will be supported by a dedicated knit tech and PD Fine Jewelry — Capsule (NYC, Transitioning to Import) Oversee production of our small fine jewelry capsule, currently produced in New York City Support the brand's planned transition from domestic to full package import production — building knowledge of international fine jewelry supply chain and processes as the program evolves Maintain quality standards and delivery timelines on current NYC production while transition planning is underway No prior fine jewelry production experience required Cross-Functional Partnership Work closely with the Milan-based product development team on seasonal calendar alignment and category status across denim, knitwear, and fine jewelry Maintain structured communication with the New York team on bulk status, delivery confirmations, and cost actuals Partner with the AI Product Operations Associate and AI Systems Engineer to bring automation and tracking discipline to production workflows WHO YOU ARE 8+ years of total production experience. Deep working knowledge of construction, finishing, materials and trim purchasing, factory capacity planning, bulk QC, and costing Experienced tracking a full development and production calendar from design pass-off through final delivery Skilled materials operator: comfortable planning and purchasing fabrics and trims, managing vendor lead times, and protecting cost targets Comfortable managing full package production relationships across multiple countries and time zones Proven ability to own a category end-to-end — bookings, development, bulk, quality, and delivery Strong with numbers: PO tracking, lead times, margin protection, and production reporting Organized, calm under deadline pressure, and obsessive about follow-through Effective remote collaborator — able to work closely with consultants and factory partners in LA and a product team in Milan Based in Los Angeles DETAILS Reports to the Director of Development & Production Remote Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and scope #J-18808-Ljbffr
