Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin, USA

Work Type: 100% Remote / Hybrid (5 days including weekend, 11PM to 7AM central time)

Detailed Job Description:

3-5 years of hands-on network operations/support experience in a medium to large enterprise environment with high-volume network activity.

Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, including troubleshooting complex connectivity and performance issues.

Experience managing and supporting Firewalls, Load Balancers, and SD-WAN technologies.

Proficiency in packet capture and network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark or equivalent.

Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools such as Splunk or similar platforms.

Ability to work with telecommunication providers and circuit vendors to support WAN connectivity and service delivery.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and enterprise networking protocols.

CCNA certification mandatory.

Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve network issues.

Demonstrated initiative and proactive mindset to identify, prevent, and mitigate potential network problems before they impact business operations.

Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Top 3 Required Skills:

• Routing & Switching with strong enterprise network troubleshooting experience.
• Firewalls & Load Balancers administration, configuration, and support.
• Packet Capture, Network Analysis, and Log Analysis using tools such as Wireshark and Splunk.

Top 3 Preferred Skills:

• SD-WAN implementation and support.
• Experience working with Telecom/Circuit Vendors and WAN service providers.
• Experience supporting medium-to-large enterprise environments with high-volume network operations.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.

CCNA certification is mandatory.

Additional certifications such as CCNP or equivalent networking certifications are an advantage.
