Data Entry Clerk

Job Description

Accurately enter patient demographics, doctor's notes, clinical information, insurance details, and medical codes into EHR and practice management systems

Review medical records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency prior to data entry

Update and maintain electronic records, correcting errors and duplications as needed

Work closely with clinical staff, billing teams, and administrative personnel to resolve data discrepancies

Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ year of data entry experience in a healthcare or medical office setting

Strong attention to detail with high accuracy rates

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry systems

Very reliable with strong communication skills
