What You'll Do

As a General Manager, you'll take ownership of the overall success of your restaurant while creating an environment where both guests and team members thrive.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading all aspects of restaurant operations, including daily execution, team performance, and guest experience

• Building, training, and developing a strong team that delivers exceptional service

• Creating a positive, energetic workplace culture built on teamwork, accountability, and respect

• Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining talented team members

• Coaching Shift Leaders and Crew Members to help them grow their skills and leadership abilities

• Ensuring consistent execution of food quality, cleanliness, safety, and operational standards

• Driving sales growth while managing labor, food costs, inventory, and overall restaurant performance

• Creating memorable guest experiences through great hospitality and high-quality food

• Managing schedules, staffing needs, and daily restaurant priorities

• Maintaining compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures

• Identifying opportunities to improve the business and implementing solutions that drive results

• Partnering with leadership to support continued growth and expansion of The Smoked Taco brand

What We're Looking For

We're looking for leaders who:

• Have previous restaurant management experience, preferably as a General Manager, Assistant Manager, or strong multi-unit leader

• Are passionate about building teams and developing people

• Lead with energy, accountability, and a positive attitude

• Thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment

• Take ownership and treat the restaurant like it is their own business

• Have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Understand restaurant operations, including sales, labor, food cost, inventory, and profitability

• Enjoy creating a fun, welcoming environment for both guests and team members

• Are motivated by growth opportunities and the chance to make an impact

Experience in quick-service, fast-casual, or high-volume restaurant environments is preferred, but we value strong leadership ability and a passion for people above all else.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant leadership or management experience required

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on restaurant environment

• Food safety certification may be required and will be provided or supported if applicable
