Lab Supervisor

Lab Supervisor (Auto-Chemistry) Location: Cleveland, OH Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotational weekends Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually Relocation Assistance: Available Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Lab Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a clinical laboratory environment. This individual will be responsible for supervising laboratory staff, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met, managing workflow, and supporting technical laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory activities and staff schedules Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel Review and approve specialized and complex test results Monitor quality control processes and ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory standards Assist with hiring, performance management, and staff development Support laboratory operations during peak workloads and staff absences Participate in regulatory inspections and special projects as needed Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related scientific field ASCP certification (MLS or equivalent) 4–6 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory setting Strong experience in Auto-Chemistry Preferred Previous supervisory or leadership experience Experience working in a high-volume clinical laboratory environment Best-in-Class Benefits We invest in your physical, financial, and professional health from Day 1: Health & Wellness: Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision; Blueprint for Wellness assessments; and healthyMINDS mental health support.
