Lab Supervisor (Auto-Chemistry)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotational weekends
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually
Relocation Assistance: Available

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lab Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a clinical laboratory environment. This individual will be responsible for supervising laboratory staff, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met, managing workflow, and supporting technical laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory activities and staff schedules
• Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel
• Review and approve specialized and complex test results
• Monitor quality control processes and ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory standards
• Assist with hiring, performance management, and staff development
• Support laboratory operations during peak workloads and staff absences
• Participate in regulatory inspections and special projects as needed

Qualifications
Required

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related scientific field
• ASCP certification (MLS or equivalent)
• 4–6 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong experience in Auto-Chemistry

Preferred

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience working in a high-volume clinical laboratory environment
