If you're passionate about safety, education, and compliance, this is a vital role where you can make a real impact.Job duties:Develop and monitor infection prevention policies and proceduresConduct risk assessments and implement evidence-based practicesAnalyze infection and antibiotic usage dataEducate staff on infection control protocolsParticipate in QAPI and quality improvement initiativesOversee infection control training for new employeesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams and report to leadershipEnsure compliance with all regulatory guidelinesQualifications:Current RN or LPN licenseCompletion of state-approved Infection Control Preventionist trainingCertified in Infection Control PreventionStrong knowledge of infection control regulationsExcellent communication, leadership, and analytical skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and conduct facility-wide inspectionsProtect health and promote safety—apply today and lead our infection prevention efforts!Wound NurseWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Nurse to join our team. In this important role, you will provide specialized care to residents with wounds, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and healing. If you're a dedicated nurse with a passion for wound care and teamwork, we welcome your application.Qualifications:Current and valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employmentExperience in wound care and long-term care (preferred)Strong documentation, assessment, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyKey responsibilities:Wound care duties:Obtain and update physician orders for wound care treatmentsAdminister treatments and monitor healing progressDocument wound status weekly (stage, size, depth, color, drainage, odor, resident response)Observe and document skin condition and changesNotify residents, families, physicians, and team members of changesReview and revise care plans as neededParticipate in care planning meetings and MDS updatesReport wound status to the Director of NursingProvide wound care education and in-service training to staffAdhere to infection control protocols and safety standardsMaintain care within budgetary guidelinesParticipate in State Department of Health inspections and facility committeesComplete management reports and special assignments as directedWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
