Warehouse Team Lead Manager Support 1st Shift

Warehouse Team Lead – Hagerstown, Maryland Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to manage daily warehouse operations and lead a team of associates in a clean and organized facility. Compensation and Schedule Hourly Pay: $23.69 per hour Pay frequency: Weekly Shift: First Shift (A shift) - Sunday to Tuesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other Wednesday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Work Environment Products handled: Computers Equipment: Forklifts (sit-down), reach trucks, order pickers, and RF scanners Responsibilities Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations. Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to team members to ensure optimal shift logistics. Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPIs using appropriate leadership styles. Assist in orienting employees and provide necessary technology and tools. Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse. Manage day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc. Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred. One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred. One (1) year or more experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred. Knowledge and experience with an RF scanner - advanced required. Valid forklift operator's license certified. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective leadership skills. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Excellent organizational skills. Proactive and maintains composure under pressure. Work using health and safety methods. Bilingual (for Québec locations only) - not required for this role.
