Systems Administrator The Antwi Group

The Antwi Group is seeking an experienced, security-conscious, and technically skilled Systems & Network Administrator to join our IT & Digital Systems Department. Working under the direction of the IT & Digital Systems Department Manager , the Systems & Network Administrator will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting the technology infrastructure used across The Antwi Group and its businesses. The position will support company computers, networks, user accounts, cloud services, storage systems, backups, servers, business applications, email systems, and other approved technology resources. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting skills, security awareness, documentation habits, and the ability to maintain reliable systems while supporting a growing organization. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain company computer systems, networks, and related technology infrastructure. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, servers, networking equipment, and approved business systems. Monitor system health, storage capacity, network performance, and critical services. Administer user accounts, groups, permissions, and access controls. Create, modify, and deactivate accounts according to approved company procedures. Coordinate employee technology onboarding and offboarding with Human Resources and IT management. Configure and maintain company email and collaboration accounts as assigned. Support identity and access-management procedures. Implement approved multi-factor authentication and account-security requirements. Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems and approved business software. Coordinate software updates and security patching. Maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and related infrastructure. Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance problems. Maintain appropriate network documentation and configuration records. Support company servers, storage systems, shared drives, and cloud platforms. Configure and monitor approved backup systems. Verify successful completion of critical backups. Participate in periodic restoration and recovery testing. Maintain system and configuration documentation. Troubleshoot employee hardware, software, network, and account problems. Escalate significant security, infrastructure, or service problems to the IT & Digital Systems Department Manager. Support company websites and web infrastructure when systems-level assistance is required. Assist with DNS, hosting, SSL, server, and database troubleshooting when assigned. Support IT equipment inventory and asset-management procedures. Assist with evaluating and deploying new technology. Coordinate with approved technology vendors and service providers. Document technical incidents, solutions, changes, and system configurations. Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding company systems, credentials, and data. Network Administration The Systems & Network Administrator may support infrastructure involving: Local-area networks Wi-Fi networks Routers Switches Wireless access pointsFirewalls Internet connectivity Network printers Network storage Virtual private networks Remote access Network segmentation Network monitoring The Administrator should help maintain a reliable and appropriately secured network environment. Systems Administration Responsibilities may include administration of: Windows systems macOS systems Linux systems where applicable Servers Cloud services User directories Business applications File systems Shared storage Collaboration platforms Email systems Endpoint devices Virtual machines Backup systems The specific technology environment may evolve as The Antwi Group grows. User & Access Management The Systems & Network Administrator will help maintain appropriate user access. Responsibilities may include: Account creation Account modification Account deactivation Group membership Access permissions Multi-factor authentication Password resets Shared-resource permissions Email accounts Cloud accounts Remote-access permissions Periodic access reviews Access should follow the principle that employees receive only the permissions reasonably necessary to perform their authorized responsibilities. Backup & Recovery The Systems & Network Administrator will help protect critical company systems and data through appropriate backup procedures. Responsibilities may include: Monitoring automated backups Reviewing backup failures Maintaining backup schedules Verifying backup completion Supporting off-site or cloud backup systems Maintaining backup documentation Performing approved restoration tests Assisting with system recovery Maintaining appropriate backup retention A successful backup notification alone should not be considered sufficient evidence that data can actually be restored. Periodic recovery testing should be performed according to department procedures. Cybersecurity Support The Systems & Network Administrator will help implement the security standards established by IT management. Responsibilities may include: Security updates Patch management Endpoint protection Malware prevention Multi-factor authentication Access controls Account monitoring Network security Backup protection Email-security configuration Security logging Vulnerability remediation Security incident support Suspected security incidents must be reported promptly according to company procedures. Technical Support The Systems & Network Administrator may provide advanced technical support involving: Computer problems Network connectivity Software problems Email issues Account access Printer and peripheral issues Shared drives Cloud services Remote access Storage problems System performance Backup problems Business applications Routine employee support may be handled by IT Support personnel, with more complex issues escalated to the Systems & Network Administrator. Documentation The Systems & Network Administrator will help maintain accurate technical documentation, including: Network diagrams System configurations Device inventoriesSoftware inventories Account procedures Backup procedures Recovery procedures Vendor information Configuration records Technical troubleshooting documentation Change records Security procedures Sensitive documentation must be stored and accessed according to approved security procedures. Cross-Department Collaboration The Systems & Network Administrator may support technology used by departments throughout The Antwi Group, including: Executive Leadership Operations & Administration Human Resources Marketing Social Media Graphic Design Sales & Client Relations Business Development Finance & Accounting Audio Engineering Content & Media Production Some departments may require specialized workstations, storage, software, network access, or technical configurations. Qualifications Bachelor’s or associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Administration, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred. Professional experience in systems administration, network administration, IT infrastructure, or a related technical role. Strong knowledge of computer operating systems and business technology. Experience administering user accounts and access permissions. Understanding of

networking and common network services. Experience troubleshooting network and system problems. Knowledge of backup and recovery practices. Working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals. Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical abilities. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple technical priorities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to handle privileged system access and confidential information appropriately.
