Cath Lab Technologist

This position requires a 4x10 hour shift from 07:00 to 17:30.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment. This role entails monitoring patient care, maintaining a sterile field, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various procedures such as Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), and Thrombectomy.
• Manage patient care during procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
• Accurately monitor vital signs and provide necessary intervention.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for charting patient information and procedures.
• Be available for on-call coverage and weekend shifts as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS.
• Valid Florida license or compact license required at the time of submission.
• Experience with procedures such as Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, and Impella insertion preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons.
