Travel Respiratory Therapist

Travel Respiratory Therapist needed for a 13-week assignment near Columbus, OH. Provide respiratory care to hospital patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate documentation. This role supports the organization's mission to deliver high-quality patient care during staffing shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to hospital patients across all areas.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation using Meditech EMR.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as needed.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification standards.
• Work night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am.
• Float across all hospital areas as needed.
• Perform physical patient care duties.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field from accredited program.
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Prior experience working in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am.
• Physical ability to perform patient care duties.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to float across all hospital areas.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Meditech EMR
