Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients across inpatient or outpatient settings and craft tailored treatment strategies that align with individual needs
• Implement focused physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional capabilities
• Engage collaboratively with a housing variety of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation experts to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, planning for discharge, and essential home exercise protocols
• Document patient evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress in compliance with facility regulations and healthcare standards
• Take part in interdisciplinary meetings and care rounds to ensure comprehensive patient management and continuity of care

Education

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Licensure from the state as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable
