Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical PM Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical PM Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU. License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC EMR/charting experience - Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience - 1 year of level 1 adult trauma designated hospital experience or equivalent within the last 5 years - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 Description: This position requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical, telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit. Candidates must possess EPIC EMR/charting experience. A minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience is necessary. The role also requires 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or an equivalent setting within the last 5 years. Candidates should be accustomed to patient care ratios of 1:4-6. The Med Surg unit will be assigned upon starting. The populations served include Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client. The RN will be assigned to the vacancy that best fits their experience as applicable. The position entails 36 hours per week, typically consisting of three 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend work is expected. The RN is expected to float to other equivalent units as needed. Patient care ratios are typically 1:5-6.
