Forklift Operator-2nd ShiftVolt is immediately hiring 1st or 2nd shift Forklift Operator in Wharton, NJ.1st Shift: 6:00 am - 5:00 pm2nd Shift: 6:30 pm - 6:00 amAs a Forklift Operator, you will:Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers.Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels, and production schedules.Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.Help with pallet restacks.This is a Full time, Contract to Hire opportunity.Job Requirements:At least 2 years' experience operating 6,000 lbs forklifts in an outdoor yard environment.Forklift Certification High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling & preventive maintenance duties (lubrication, cleaning, battery change).Ability to successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.00 Per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
