Family Assistant / PA - Greenwich, CT

Full-time, in-person | Some scope for 1 day a week WFH and occasionally more when the family is away

This is not a standard family assistant role. It is for someone who can own their domain entirely — organised, self-sufficient, and warm enough to be exactly the right presence in a busy family home — while bringing enough range to be genuinely useful beyond it.

We want to continue to build a positive environment. The family is active and close-knit, with young children and a full life across multiple homes. This person owns the family and household world, works independently within it, and has the judgment to know when to escalate and when to just handle it.

The principals are not micromanagers. They want someone they can trust completely to execute. An EA/Chief of Staff handles the business and operational side. Family Office are in place to handle finances.

What you will own:

Family & Children

→ School communications, calendars, registrations, after-school activities, and sign-up deadlines — fully tracked, never missed

→ Building warm professional relationships with administrators and the wider school community

→ Medical appointments, specialist coordination, and ongoing health protocols for the children

→ Seasonal planning — summer activities, tutoring, camp, equipment, and travel preparation, planned quarterly and ahead of time

→ Coordination with the nanny on scheduling and family logistics

→ Research and plan vacations, events and activities

Household

→ Errands, household purchasing, returns, and appointments handled efficiently and without prompting

→ Gifts, thank-you notes, and the thoughtful touches that make a home feel considered

→ Day-to-day household flow — calm, consistent, proactive

→ Vendor liaison and light coordination across household needs

→ Plan ahead strategically with a yearly, quarterly and monthly calendar system

→ Comfortable being drawn on occasionally for lighter research, drafting, or analytical tasks; not a defined part of the role but the kind of range that will be appreciated

Who you are:

→ Experienced supporting a family or household at a senior level — you have done this properly and it shows

→ Held long term, full-time roles as PA / Family Assistant/ Household Manager

→ Self-sufficient: you own your domain and don't need close oversight to do so

→ Warm and discreet — the family feels genuinely comfortable with you in their home and around their children

→ Sharp enough to flex into light business support when called upon

→ Intellectually curious, collaborative, positive and constructive

→ Tech-forward — fluent in Google Workspace, and AI tools (Claude/Chat GPT/Gemini); you use technology to stay ahead, not just to keep up

→ Valid driver's licence; within easy commute of Greenwich, CT

Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 base + discretionary bonus. Health benefits provided.
