Days: Mon - Fri

Hours: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM 

Compensation: $30 to $40 per Hour

Start Date: 626/2026

A private family is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Family Assistant to help keep their home running smoothly. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone who enjoys maintaining order, preparing simple family meals, and taking initiative without needing a lot of direction. There are two dogs in the home.

Main Work Duties: 

• Prepare healthy, simple dinners for the family each night.
• Organize and prepare after-school snacks for the children.
• Assist with meal planning, grocery lists, and household food inventory.
• Manage grocery shopping and keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Maintain a high level of day-to-day tidiness throughout the home.
• Ensure household items are returned to their proper place and common areas remain neat and organized.
• Drive children to/from school, activities.
• Help children with homework, etc.
• Handle ongoing organization projects, including closets, drawers, storage areas, and general decluttering.
• Provide light pet care, including feeding, short walks, and keeping pet areas clean.
• Run occasional errands and assist with small household needs as they arise.
• Take initiative to notice what needs to be done and follow through independently.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years of family assistant/household manager experience working in a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
