Legal Assistant needed in our Miami, Bird Road office! This is a part time, 15 to 20 hours a week position. The Legal Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Corporate practice group and boosting attorney efficiency by managing information and aiding in the delivery of legal services, including client interactions. This position demands a proactive attitude to ensure tasks are completed on time, exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Minimum of two years' experience working in an office setting. Duties And Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Calendar and Schedule for attorney. Revise and draft documents/correspondences. Redline and Compare Documents Copy and Scan documents. Draft engagement letters and prepare new file openings. Maintain and Organize files physically and electronically. Client follow-ups for retainer and invoice payments. Vendor invoice submission and follow up. Attorney expense reimbursements. Assistance with Attorney time entry. Correspond with Office Services for necessary office supplies. Other duties as assigned.
