State Licensed Physician Associate

To support ongoing clinical review and adjudication of appeals and grievances, the full-time State Licensed Physician Associate will collaborate with a medical director and an integrated team, working remotely from anywhere within the U.S. Key responsibilities Conduct individual case reviews for appeals and grievances related to various health plan products Communicate with medical directors regarding the rationales for appeals decisions and benefit interpretations Participate in team meetings focused on communication, process improvement, and staff training Required qualifications Current Physician Assistant/Associate license in the state of residence Current Board Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) 5+ years of clinical PA practice experience Intermediate computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to work Monday-Friday during normal business hours
