Senior Bioprocess Associate

Senior Bioprocess Associate at Bristol Myers Squibb manufactures therapeutic proteins under cGMP regulations at the Devens facility. The role involves operating production equipment, executing manufacturing processes, maintaining documentation, and supporting process investigations for medicines treating serious diseases.

Responsibilities

• Execute moderately complex manufacturing assignments according to written procedures with minimal supervision
• Operate primary production equipment such as bioreactors, chromatography skids, and media preparation systems
• Weigh and verify raw materials; assemble, clean, and sterilize process equipment
• Revise and create process documents including SOPs and batch records; assist with process-related investigations
• Use process automation systems and business software to maintain production records and monitor regulatory compliance

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in science, engineering, biochemistry, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of process operations experience in GMP-regulated biotechnology manufacturing
• Practical knowledge of GMP regulations and company standard operating procedures
• Proficiency with common computer tools including word processing, spreadsheets, and web-based applications
• Strong attention to detail, personal accountability, and collaborative work experience
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional relationships with management and colleagues

Compensation: $29.83 - $36.15 per hour
