Pediatrics/Neonatal Critical Care Transport RN

Location: Seattle, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care Transport RN to join our Ground Transport team. This role involves the transportation of infants and pediatric patients within Seattle and surrounding areas, coordinating with a team that includes respiratory therapists and advanced practice providers. The RN will ensure safe and timely transport of patients from various healthcare settings to a higher level of care.

Responsibilities:

• Transport infants and pediatric patients between hospitals, ERs, and other units.
• Collaborate with the transportation team, including RTs and advanced practice providers.
• Provide direct care during transport for critically ill patients.
• May float to cover as bedside nurse in the NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license (active compact license accepted).
• Two years of experience in pediatric/neonatal critical care nursing preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS required.
• Experience in ground transportation is essential.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.
