Your Role Direct inbound/outbound logistics to ensure consistent high level of service, profitability, and cost efficiency while adhering to applicable company and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Do Lead, direct, and manage inbound and/or outbound site operations to meet or exceed customer standards in service agreements. Maximize profitability through superior customer service, effective communication, and timely follow‑up. Manage revenue and expenses within budget constraints. Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules and adjust as needed to support operational demands. Communicate directives, rules, and procedures to all staff. Implement and maintain safety methods, practices, and programs. Ensure freight is moved safely and timely using appropriate equipment and tools. Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment by inspecting and scheduling maintenance and ensuring equipment is accounted for. Oversee administrative functions to ensure paperwork is processed efficiently and meets compliance requirements. Co‑coach, train, and mentor direct reports, providing career development opportunities through training and quality management activities. What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED, minimum five years related experience, and minimum three years supervisory or managerial experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred. Valid state‑issued Driver’s License and Forklift Driver Certification; other professional certifications may be required. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web‑based and job‑specific software applications. Ability to allocate work assignments, manage financial aspects of a department, read and interpret business and regulatory documents, and write reports and business correspondence.
