The firm handles a broad mix of GL, premises, transportation, and complex civil litigation for regional and national insurance carriers, offering attorneys real caseload responsibility, hybrid flexibility, and a compensation structure that rewards performance rather than just hours billed. What Makes This Role Different Hybrid schedule with genuine autonomy over your time Competitive base salary with a top-tier bonus structure, $120k+ depending on experience Full-service platform with the ability to expand beyond pure carrier work if desired Manageable, well-supported caseloads, not a volume mill Direct client and adjuster interaction from day one A team that values efficiency and output over face time What You Will Do Manage a variety of GL and civil litigation matters from early case strategy through resolution Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses Draft and argue motions including summary judgment, motions in limine, and discovery motions Participate in mediations, hearings, and trial preparation Work directly with clients and adjusters to evaluate exposure and develop case strategy Who You Are 1-10+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense or related civil litigation Active Texas Bar license in good standing Comfortable managing your own caseload with minimal supervision Strong legal writer with practical, business-minded judgment Looking to build a long-term practice, not just manage a docket Additional Opportunities Available This is one of several openings we are currently working across the Dallas insurance defense market at multiple experience levels.
