Office Assistant

Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for an experienced Public Health Office Assistant to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Health (TN DOH) located in Loudon, TN. This is an on-site position working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Office Assistant Job Duties & Responsibilities will include:

• Under general supervision, will serve as administrative support in a county health department with public relation medical office duties.
• Performing a combination of patient registration, scheduling, payment collection, accounts reconciliation, insurance verification, program eligibility, patient education, vital records processing, registrar services, and medical records duties.
• Serving as the sole clerical support in assisting the county director with administrative duties.

Education & Skill Requirements for Office Assistant position:

• Have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Filing, faxing, scanning, printing and copying skills.
• Data entry and typing skills.
• Good phone etiquette skills.
