Our client is a successful and growing company looking to hire for a Senior Payroll Specialist in Farmingdale, NY. The proper candidate will have at least five years of payroll experience, multi-state and union/non-union required. You will be part of a Payroll Department that handles a weekly payroll for over 1,000 employees across the country. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that can offer you a challenge as well as stability. They are FULLY ONSITE and looking for local candidates. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000.

The responsibilities of the Payroll Manager job include:

• Processing of a large, multistate union and non-union employee payroll
• Assure accuracy of payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations
• Work with employees to resolve any issues with compensation

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of payroll experience, in-house payroll experience is a plus
• Must have experience with union payroll
• Multi-state payroll experience required
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork mentality and the willingness to go over and above as needed
