VP & Managing Director, Mid-size Pharma - US/EU

IQVIA

IQVIA seeks a VP & Managing Director to lead strategic partnerships with mid-sized pharmaceutical companies. The role combines clinical development expertise, account leadership, and operational oversight to drive customer portfolio acceleration, manage global delivery teams, and achieve revenue targets of $100M+.

Responsibilities

Serve as senior operational liaison between IQVIA and customer clinical development organizations
Lead operational governance forums, escalation resolution, and portfolio-level risk management
Mobilize global IQVIA teams to align resources, anticipate needs, and strengthen partnerships
Own $100M+ annual net revenue targets with profitability accountability and financial tracking
Lead and mentor cross-functional global teams across quality, data management, and delivery operations

Requirements

15–20 years in pharma, biotech, CRO, clinical operations, or related environments
Deep clinical development and global delivery operations expertise
Proven senior client management and C-suite stakeholder influence experience
Strong financial analysis, margin management, and revenue planning skills
Matrix leadership capability with cultural agility across global teams
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and critical thinking abilities
Strategic and tactical customer planning with measurable outcome delivery
