Job DescriptionJoin our Chandler Fab Shop team as a Plastic Pipe Cleanroom Welder/Assembler, where you will fabricate and weld high-purity thermoplastic piping systems used in controlled cleanroom environments. In this role, you will apply specialized fusion welding techniques while ensuring all work meets stringent quality, cleanliness, and industry standards required in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing facilities.\n\nWhat's in it For You\n\n\n Work with high-purity thermoplastic piping systems in a specialized fabrication environment.\n Apply and expand your expertise in butt fusion and infrared (IR) fusion welding processes.\n Collaborate with production and quality teams to support successful project execution.\n Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanroom compliance.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\n\n Perform welding and fabrication of plastic piping systems using approved fusion welding techniques.\n Install and assemble high-purity piping, valves, fittings, and related components in clean environments.\n Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric drawings, specifications, and installation procedures.\n Prepare and maintain materials in accordance with cleanroom contamination-control requirements.\n Perform pipe cutting, facing, alignment, and preparation prior to welding.\n Inspect welded joints for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.\n Maintain weld records, traceability documentation, and quality control reports.\n Operate and maintain fusion welding equipment and related tools.\n Follow GMP, cleanroom protocols, and company safety policies.\n Coordinate with supervisors, team members, and quality personnel to meet project schedules.\n Ensure proper handling and storage of high-purity materials to prevent contamination.\n\nPosition Details\n\n\n Department: Chandler Fab Shop onsite in Chandler, AZ\n Reports to: Production Manager\n Work Environment: Fab Shop\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n\n High school diploma or GED.\n Minimum 3-5 years of experience in plastic pipe welding and assembly.\n Experience working in a cleanroom environment.\n Proficiency in Butt Fusion and Infrared (IR) Fusion welding.\n Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.\n Strong understanding of quality standards and contamination-control practices.\n Ability to use measuring instruments and inspection tools.\n No immigration sponsorship is available for this position.\n\n\nPhysical Demands\n\n\n Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.\n Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\n Ability to work in cleanroom garments, PPE, and controlled environments.\n Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision welding and inspection tasks.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n\n Manufacturer certifications for thermoplastic fusion welding equipment.\n Experience with PVDF, PP-R, PP-H, and HDPE piping systems.\n OSHA 10 certification.\n\n\nCareers Advancing Ovivo by Ecolab's Water Technology Solutions\n\n\nHelp shape the future of water and technology by joining a team that drives innovation in ultrapure water solutions -critical to industries powering global progress.
