You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Mechanical EngineerConduct research that tests or analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipmentDesign or redesign mechanical devices, creating blueprints so the device can be builtRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports for mechanical componentsIdentify, review and recommend necessary modifications to ensure product conforms to engineering design and performance specificationsPlan, coordinate, or monitor the selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation and maintenance of components, ensuring optimal manufacturing or component performanceConduct root cause failure analysis and develop solutions for product malfunctions or issuesMinimum Qualifications of Mechanical EngineerBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.
