Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a rewarding contract opportunity situated near Rio Rancho, NM. This role is integral to supporting elementary and secondary students and offers the chance to positively impact young lives throughout the academic year.

Work a consistent 37.5 hours each week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 28th, serving a caseload of approximately 40-50 students across various age groups and needs. While education experience is valued, it’s not a strict requirement—your background in healthcare, school-based OT, or home health will pave the way for your success.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current or eligibility to obtain NM RLD and NMPED licenses
• Experience in OT within school, healthcare, or home health settings
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to supporting students’ functional, academic, and developmental growth
• Prior exposure to educational environments preferred but not mandatory

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy for students in both elementary and secondary caseloads
• Evaluate student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize each student’s progress
• Complete timely documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary care plans
