Job Title: Senior Data Architect / Data Integration Lead

Location: Tallahassee FL

Duration: 12 Months

Must Have:DB2, Azure, ETL

Role Summary

Seeking a senior-level Data Architect with strong expertise in data modeling, ETL, cloud platforms, and enterprise data integration to design scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions.

Core Technical Skills

Strong experience withDB2andMicrosoft SQL Server.
Hands-on experience withETL and data integration platforms:Informatica,Azure Data Factory,Snowflake,SSIS.
Proficiency inSQL and scriptingfor data querying and transformation.
Experience withAzure,Snowflake,PostgreSQL, andcloud-first architectures.
Strong understanding ofdata pipelines,batch vs. real-time processing, andAPI-driven architectures.
Expertise indata modeling: relational, dimensional, canonical models, schema design, andintegration patterns.
Experience buildingscalable ingestion and transformation workflows.
Ability to develop and documentarchitecture diagrams, data dictionaries, and governance artifacts.
Experience developingRESTful APIs, including support forspatial and engineering data.
Knowledge ofdata quality management,data governance frameworks, and best practices.
Familiarity withPower BIand reporting best practices.
Understanding ofdata security, privacy regulations, role-based access, encryption, and compliance standards (includingFDOT security standards).

Domain & Systems Knowledge

Familiarity withfinancial management systemssuch asWPA,RCI LRS,RCI/TCI,Pavement Systems, andFlorida PALM(or similar state/federal systems).
Knowledge ofspatial data conceptsandevent segmentation.

Responsibilities & Abilities

Translatebusiness requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Performsystems analysis,data impact assessments, and modernization initiatives.
Lead and mentor technical teams ondata architecture, integration, and quality best practices.
Ensure solutions meetsecurity, privacy, and regulatory compliancerequirements.
Collaborate effectively withtechnical and non-technical stakeholders.
Manage priorities across multiple initiatives while maintaining quality and timelines.
