Quick Facts Location: Richmond, VA (Bon Secours Richmond OB/GYN at St. Marys, 1501 Maple Avenue, Suite 100) Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: May 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026 Shift: Office hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; on-call coverage 24/7 (1 in 4 ratio) Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours Employment Type: Locum to Permanent License/Certifications: Current MD/DO license required Experience: Proven OB/GYN experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with state/federal laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You’ll Do Provide OB/GYN care, performing routine and high-risk pregnancies with a focus on low-risk cases Perform obstetric procedures including level I ultrasounds, fetal monitoring, and delivering low and high-risk pregnancies (e.g., C-sections, VBACs) Conduct gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions, cystoscopies, colposcopies, and minor surgeries Manage patient appointments, diagnoses, and treatment plans Collaborate with a team of physicians, midwives, and support staff to deliver quality care Document all patient encounters accurately using EPIC EMR system Participate in on-call duties, including emergency deliveries and high-risk case management What You Need Required: Valid MD/DO license in Virginia Proven experience in OB/GYN practice (specific years not specified) Ability to perform obstetric and gynecologic procedures listed Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment Preferred: Experience working in Level IIID NICU settings Familiarity with EPIC EMR About the Assignment This opportunity is at a reputable, leading healthcare facility in Richmond, VA, supporting a busy OB/GYN practice with modern equipment, onsite ultrasound, and dedicated clinical staff.
