Human Resources Manager - Attorney Population (New York Office)

We are partnering with a premier global law firm to identify an HR Manager – Attorney Population (New York Office) to serve as the lead HR advisor for the firm’s New York attorney population. This highly visible role will partner closely with practice leadership to manage the full attorney lifecycle and advise on complex matters related to employee relations, performance, compensation, mobility, and compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 6–10 years of progressive HR experience within an AM Law 100 firm or elite professional services environment
- Deep knowledge of U.S. employment and labor law, particularly within attorney populations
- Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders in a high-performance, partner-driven environment
- Strong judgment, discretion, and experience in handling sensitive and complex employee matters
- Experience managing attorney HR functions across the full employee lifecycle
- An analytical mindset with the ability to leverage workforce data to support decision-making
- Experience with HR systems; PeopleSoft preferred
