Job Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Key Details Entity: Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Position Type: Employee, Regular Pay: Hourly, Health-28 Hours per week: 36 (3 twelve‑hour shifts per week) Sign on Bonus: $30,000 Qualifications Minimum Training and Education: Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Licensure: Registered nurse license by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required: certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): required.
