Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in South Carolina
• Master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist, especially within schools
• Background working with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with school-based IEP processes, including evaluations, re-evaluations, and paperwork
• Experience using the EDPlan SC IEP program for documentation and compliance

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students one day per week, ensuring specialized care in a supportive setting
• Complete comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations to guide student interventions and progress
• Collaborate with school staff and families by participating in IEP meetings, advocating for student-centered approaches and tailored support
• Prepare thorough IEP documentation, meeting all state and district requirements, including the use of EDPlan SC
• Contribute to a positive school environment by sharing knowledge and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
